Becoming an ROV Pilot

TC Marine now offer Observation Class ROV pilot training courses suitable for operations in the following areas:

ROVs give easy and instant access allowing observation and inspection of underwater water structures, marine life, reefs, wrecks, seabed and artifacts. Video and digital images can be captured and shared in real time.

Our two-day introductory courses can be run for groups or individuals and includes class-based theory, practical workshops and in water ROV flying sessions. Learners will be able to launch and recover ROVs, complete per dive checks and post dive maintenance. Operate an ROV underwater using two different types of ROV (surface powered and battery). Capture and share images and recover objects to the surface.
